Michael pioneered thoroughbred finance for the Australian bloodstock industry in 1977 and became a major commercial breeder in his own right upon acquiring control of Segenhoe in 1989. Since then, horses produced by the Stud have won most of the major races on the Australian racing calendar. Michael was also a founding Director of Aushorse.
