In 2008 we walked out 156 mares of which 146 returned positive pregnancy tests, resulting in a fertility rate of 94%.

Segenhoe spans both sides of the Hunter River immediately below the wall of Glenbawn Dam, with 5kms of river frontage balanced by undulating country.

Segenhoe offers freedom of choice because we are a specialised broodmare farm, agistment at Segenhoe does not carry any obligaton to supoort “home” stallions.

Since then, horses produced by the Stud have won most of the major races on the Australian racing calendar. Michael was also a founding Director of Aushorse.
